IN A FEW WORDS...

Oro&Co is the London-based design studio of Creative Director Debi Ani. We are a handpicked team of expert artisans and innovators who specialise in luxury brand design, providing a friendly and approachable hand-held service throughout the process. Recognized for our outstanding craft, intuition and meticulous detail, we create world-class brand identities, bespoke logos, custom websites and design for print for discerning clients in all sectors and all over the globe.

We strive for perfection with integrity and clarity, aspiring to a world where everything is considered and thoughtful. We invest in our clients as our clients invest in us and are dependable partners on your unique journey from beginning to forever. We are privileged to have created brand identities and websites for high profile visionaries and tastemakers from the worlds of fashion, retail, architecture, finance, automotive and global humanitarian leadership, including Diana Ross, Belma Gaudio, Mikimoto, David Downton, Rose Villa Saigon, Kirstie Allsopp and our inspiration, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, also known as ‘Amma’.

MIKIMOTO

Renowned Fine Jeweller, Mikimoto, has been celebrated worldwide since 1893 when Kokichi Mikimoto successfully created the world's first cultured pearls. Only accepting the top 5% of a harvest has ensured that Mikimoto remain, quite literally, the best pearls in the world. Oro&Co were asked to design and produce a sophisticated limited edition VIP invitation to celebrate the grand re-opening of their iconic Bond Street boutique. We set out to produce a piece of print as refined and precious as the jewels themselves. Taking the same approach as for our brand creation projects, we ensured the design would be grounded in authenticity and instinctively relate to Mikimoto and their knowledgeable customers.

Seeking the inherent answers, we began with the architect’s plans. We reflected the boutique’s substantial presence and classical proportions in an oversize square format, gilding the edges in reference to the distinctive vertical brass accents in the interiors. Perfectly die-cut scalloped edges decorated the gossamer overlay and envelope referencing a pearl necklace. The magic ingredient was the use of three harmonious premium Japanese papers by Takeo creating a visual feast in understated layers. Undisputed luxury and a truly stunning piece of print, the foiling is so good, it’s still perfect at 800% (we know, we checked).

Bespoke Branding

A brand design governs the way the brand works on all visual communications. It’s the foundation of all visual communications, comprising logo, fonts, colours, typography, imagery and tone of voice. In the creation of luxury brand design, each one of these individual elements is perfectly crafted and woven into a finely honed, truly unique treasure trove of assets. Getting it right from the start is worth its weight in gold, inspiring brand confidence both internally and externally, whilst ensuring that the brand message is clear and consistent from launch to eternity.

At Oro&Co, the luxury space is our everyday. Once the brand has found its voice, the story expands and unfolds naturally with every assignment, revealing an ocean of possibilities which further fortifies and distinguishes each brand’s individual narrative. This selected portfolio of work illustrates the development of this solid groundwork onto websites, brochures, product, marketing materials packaging and more. We conceived and sculpted each brand from the inside out, delivering enduring and functional graphics impeccably on message, alongside a pragmatic and seamless process for our clients.
