Walpole Mayfair, once the home of Britain's first Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole is a prestigious, award winning development by Oliver Burns. There was no question that Sir Robert needed to be central to the identity, quite literally. Masterfully drawn in lyrical lines by master calligrapher Peter Horridge, we were extremely proud to feature it prominently on our hoardings, brochure, website, brass signage and everything else.

Timelessly elegant in black, white and eau de nil, we squeezed in some purple in reference to Oliver Burns’ in house branding (oh yes, we did their logo as well). Despite having been a successful illustrator in a previous incarnation, Debi's scribbled Walpole logo concept is now part of Oro&Co’s mythology. Thank you, Peter, for simply saying, “I know what you mean”. More about this project ➻
