Private members’ club and boutique hotel, Rose Villa Saigon in HCMC, is a lush tableau in intense colour, a perfumed paradise within a walled garden. We literally constructed the logo piece by piece to capture the ambience, drawing on details in the architecture and interiors. We began with a solid foundation of the hexagon which we referenced from the tiling, establishing a structurally stable core where the six sides numerologically represent balance, union, harmony and dependability.

We reflected the roses in the imposing mosaic pool and the swathes of hand-dyed vintage net curtains with abundant pixelated botanical elements. The handcrafted Victorian typography alludes to the vast ironwork which spans the villas. The assembled piece created a traditional crest reimagined as a garden to entice the senses. We created all manner of derivatives to use throughout the compound from restaurants to bar, spa, gift shop and rooms. More about this project ➻
